Terms of Service for Zoomies Dog Walking & Pet Sitting

Thank you for choosing Zoomies! We’re excited to provide your pets with the best possible care. Before booking our services, please take a moment to read through our Terms of Service. By scheduling any service, you agree to these terms. We’re here to make your experience as easy and enjoyable as possible!


1. Billing & Payments
To keep things simple, payment for all services is due at the time of booking or upon completion of the service, unless otherwise arranged. We accept payments via cash, credit card, or digital platforms like Venmo. Our prices are clearly listed, and you’ll receive an invoice with a breakdown of charges for your convenience. Should there be any changes in pricing, you will be notified in advance. We appreciate prompt payments to ensure that your scheduled services are confirmed and to avoid any delays.


2. Cancellation & Refunds
We understand that life happens and plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a service, please notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee, as we reserve that time exclusively for you. Unfortunately, refunds are not available for services already performed or for late cancellations. If we need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances on our end, we’ll work to accommodate you and ensure a smooth rescheduling process.


3. Past Due Invoices
Invoices are due upon receipt and should be paid within 7 days to avoid any late fees. If payment isn’t received in this time frame, a 10% late fee will be added to the outstanding balance. If an invoice remains unpaid for more than 30 days, we reserve the right to suspend services until the balance is cleared. Please reach out to us if you ever have any concerns about payments or need to discuss special arrangements.


4. Pricing
We strive to keep our rates clear and competitive for all our services:

  • Dog Walking (30 minutes): $15.00
  • Dog Walking (60 minutes): $25.00
  • Pet Sitting (1 Hour Visit): $20.00 – 30.00 /hr
  • Please note, additional charges may apply for multiple pets, specific care requirements, or if you request a service outside of normal operating hours. If you have any questions about pricing, feel free to ask—we want to make sure everything is understood and fair.

5. Key Policy
To ensure smooth access to your home, we may require a set of keys or a lockbox code to care for your pet. All keys are securely stored and will only be used for the purpose of the scheduled service. After the service is completed, keys will be returned promptly. We understand how important security is, and we take all necessary precautions to protect your home and personal information. If you prefer, we can discuss alternatives like a garage code or lockbox system.


6. Medication Policy
We’re happy to care for pets who require medication. To ensure we administer it correctly, please provide clear, written instructions including medication type, dosage, and timing. All medications should be in their original, labeled packaging. If any issues arise or further clarification is needed, we will contact you promptly. Rest assured, we take medication administration seriously and will provide the utmost care in following your instructions.


7. Prohibited Items
For the safety of your pet, please ensure there are no harmful or dangerous items left within their reach while they’re in our care. This includes toxic foods, sharp objects, and hazardous materials. If we find any unsafe conditions during our visits, we will notify you immediately and work with you to resolve the situation. We strive to create a safe, comfortable environment for your pet, and your cooperation in this area is greatly appreciated.


8. Emergency Policy
While we always aim to provide a smooth, stress-free experience, emergencies can occasionally arise. In the event of an emergency, we will attempt to reach you immediately using the contact information you’ve provided. If we cannot reach you, we will take all necessary steps to ensure the well-being of your pet, which may include seeking immediate veterinary care if required. You will be responsible for any costs incurred for emergency care, but we’ll always strive to keep you informed and involved throughout the process.


9. Agreement & Acceptance
By booking a service with Zoomies, you acknowledge that you’ve read and understand these Terms of Service. These terms may be updated from time to time, and we’ll notify you of any important changes. We want to ensure that you’re always aware of our policies, so if you ever have questions or need clarification, don’t hesitate to reach out.


10. Release of Liability
We take the utmost care in ensuring your pet’s safety and comfort. However, by using Zoomies’ services, you understand and agree that you are ultimately responsible for the health and well-being of your pet. Zoomies, including its employees, agents, and contractors, are not responsible for any injuries, illness, or damages that may occur while your pet is in our care. We make every effort to provide a safe and secure environment, but in the rare case of unexpected accidents or health issues, you release Zoomies from any liability. We appreciate your understanding and are committed to providing the highest level of care for your pets.
